Realistic Materials
With Displacement

The goal of this project was to create materials that replicate a real world inspiration using Substance Designer and displacement in Unreal Engine 4. The closer the digital material resembled the image from the real world, the more successful the project was. I chose materials that I planned to use later on for other projects like the incised stone and copper materials. I wanted to create stone, but something more dynamic than just a basic stone or concrete materials so the Celtic incised stonework felt a perfect choice.
